Heidelberg Deutschland Beer Stein Glass Window

A pewter eagle and stoneware doors with 24 gold and silver accents guard a secret window on the front of this unique hand painted beer stein. The shutters open to reveal a scene of the German city of Heidelberg.  The pewter German eagle medallion reads "Deutschland" on the banner with crossed German flags below.  Arched doorways frame two noblemen who rest in the beer cellar smoking pipes and enjoying a great brew out of a stein.  Two small windows flank the stoneware shutters revealing a herald sounding a trumpet and a beer maiden with a pitcher.  The distinctive scalloped cutout base and brickwork background accent this beautiful stein.
