Product Description

This impressive collectors piece features a unique grotto or cave that is molded into the body of this German stein.  Inside the grotto a 4.75" tall American bald eagle perches proudly on a rock.  The eagle is made from compressed marble dust from the world famous Carrara mines and is hand painted in northern Italy.  The body is filled with woodland creatures including a pheasant, red fox, elk, wild boar, deer and owl.  The animals jump, perch and hide in their woodland habitat.  The handle of this stein seems to grow from an oak tree and an acorn & oak leaf garland encircle the top. Hand painted relief decoration, dark brown glaze accents and pewter lid.
