Product Description
This hand-painted, relief decorated German beer stein features three vignettes of the German city of Wiesbaden, known for it's beautiful architecture and hot springs dating back to Roman days (Wiesbaden actually means meadow baths). The Kurhaus or spa house, built in the early 1900's by Kaiser Wilhelm II, is prominently displayed in the front panel with banner reading Wiesbaden and city coat of arms. The panel on the left shows a view of the Staatstheater - the official theater of the German state of Hesse. On the right panel the Rathaus or town hall is depicted. Scroll work surrounds the three panels.
