This German advent calendar with glitter accents depicts a chocolate shop in Victorian times bustling with Christmas activity.  The mouthwatering display of sweets  seen though the shop windows and doors is made festive for the season with garlands and fir trees.  An angel sits atop the icicle and snow covered overhang with lebkuchen cookie in hand.  Townsfolk bring home baskets laden with traditional German sweets, decorations, and gifts.  

The detailed picture has 24 little doors to open. Each door has a little picture behind it. The tradition is to open one door each day from December 1 thru December 24. Children love to open a door a day as they count down to Christmas.
