Product Description

This hand-painted, relief decorated German beer stein features three panels illustrating famous views from Tallinn, the capital of Estonia.  The front reveals an aerial view of the city with the Estonian coat of arms.  The left shows the historical Viru Gate, part of a fortification wall built in the 14th century located in the old town of Tallinn.  The right depicts the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, constructed in the Russian Revival style when Estonia was part of the Russian empire.
 
The Wall of Tallinn, the medieval defensive wall that surrounded Tallinn, is replicated in clay encircling the base of this stein. Relief pewter conical lid and cobalt blue background.
