Product Description

This hand-painted, relief decorated German beer stein features a relief panorama of Strasbourg, the capitol city of the Alsace region.  Currently located in France Strasbourg borders Germany (and was once part of Germany) giving the city a unique blend of both cultures.  The sides of this stein are adorned with grapes giving a nod to Strasbourg's history of Alsatian wine production in the Rhein river valley.  The front shows the Strasbourg Cathedral which is known for it's astronomical clock.
