7 Wonders of the Medieval World Beer Stein
This German beer stein pays tribute to the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. These seven wonders were recognized by Philo of Byzantium in the year 200 B.C. and include the lighthouse of Alexandria, the statue of Zeus at Olympia, the hanging gardens of Babylon, the great pyramid of Khufu at Giza, the temple of Artemis at Ephesus, the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus and the Colossus of Helios at Rhodes. Each of these seven wonders is beautifully detailed in hand painted relief decoration and 24 K gilded accents. The front reads "Die Sieben Weltwunder der Antike" (The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World) and features the Colossus of Rhodes. Greek mosaic and wave motifs frame the scenes. The stoneware hand painted 3D globe lid rests upon a flat pewter lid.
Includes a Certificate of Authenticity with information and history on each wonder.
