Product Description

Hand painted German made beer stein with relief decoration celebrates the Schwarzwald or Black Forest region of Germany.  A beautifully detailed and romantic scene of a man presenting his sweetheart with a bouquet of flowers is shown on the front.  A picturesque Schwarzwaldhaus, nestled against wooded hills, shows it's traditional balconies and low roof line with a waterwheel and lush greenery surrounding.  The banner reads "Schwarzwald" and the sides show detailed vignettes of well known locations in the black forest: Mummelsee, Freiburg, Höllental, Triberg, Baden-Baden and Titisee.  A cuckoo clock is pictured on the left side paying homage to the clock making tradition in the Black Forest.
