This beer stein features a view of the iconic medevil tower of Plönlein in Rothenburg, Germany. Rothenburg's coat of arms are shown above the words: "Rothenburg o.d. Tauber" which stands for Rothenburg ob der Tauber (Rothenburg over the Tauber River).
Right side of beer stein reads: "Bei Gott, er trinkt ihn aus." meaning "Heavens, he'll drain his glass" and features a portrait of a man. The left side reads: "Ich will es wagen" meaning "I daresay" and features a portrait of a man drinking a beer.
