This beer stein celebrates the beer maidens of Oktoberfest! The vibrant colors of this gold-multi colored stein bring to life the festive atmosphere and Gemutlichkeit (friendship, enjoyment and togetherness) of this great celebration. The front banner reads: "Oktoberfest" held by two Bavarian lions with gold crowns. The sides read "München" and "Bavaria" in 24K gold paint.
The front features a high relief beermaid dancing with six 1 liter stoneware mugs frothing over with beer. She is dressed in the traditional dirndl. Artistic hand painted decoration and deep cobalt blue background accent this unique stein. The sides feature Munich's Frauenkirche (Our Lady's Church) with it's unmistakable onion domed towers, the Rathaus with the most famous Glockenspiel (animated bell-tower) in the world. On either side of the stein, Oompah band members play music for the beer maiden with laurels encircling the two scenes. Features an edelweiss pewter relief conical lid.

The Munich Oktoberfest was founded in year 1810 to celebrate the wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig I of Bavaria with Princess Therese.
