This stoneware beer mug features a panorama scene with hand painted details of the Bavarian town of Oberammergau, world-renowned for its production of the Passion Play or "Passionsspiele" every ten years. This German village is also known for their long tradition of woodcarving. Made in Germany this mug named Kannenbaecker (after the Kannenbaeckerland or Jug baker's region of Germany) features a hand-applied handle and holds approx. 17oz or a half liter.
