This paper German Advent Calendar - Christmas Card depicts Neuschwanstein Castle, the most famous landmark in Schwangau, Germany at Christmas. Each detail of the castle from the turrets to the coat of arms were carefully reproduced on paper in great detail. The vibrant earth colors of the castle glow against the blue white snow-covered mountains at night.
The detailed picture has 24 little doors to open. Each door has a little picture behind it. The tradition is to open one door each day from December 1 thru December 24. Children love to open a door a day as they count down to Christmas.
