This 1 Liter mug is the Official Oktoberfest stoneware beer mug which will be used during Munich's 2016 Oktoberfest, held 9/17/2016 - 10/04/2016!

The Oktoberfest collectors' mug remains true to the simple shape which has remained unchanged for over a century.  A finished mug has gone through many hands and production steps.  The high-quality finishing, evinced by many fine details, makes the official Oktoberfest mug a valuable example of a traditional handcraft.  The mug is produced by the firm of Rastal, based in Höhr-Grenzhausen, which still today fulfills orders for stoneware and pewter articles in the tradition of the masterly craftmanship of the "Kannenbäckerland".

Each Official beer mug has a copy of the artist's signature on the bottom and comes gift boxed.
