Product Description

This beautifully detailed rustic finish beer stein shows a motif of a hunter telling of the day's catch/adventure to two traditionally dressed women on the front.  The text reads "Auf der Alm" which means "On the mountain meadow".  The side vignettes shows two women sitting on a bench and two men smoking pipes sitting at a table looking towards the storyteller in the main panel.  Elaborate scrollwork with cherubs & flowers frame the scenes.

The motifs on this beer stein are iconic of the traditional German beer stein and can be found on many antique/vintage steins from different manufacturers.
