Mexican Beer Stein
This German beer stein celebrates the country of Mexico. The front features a traditionally dressed man in a Sombrero with a guitar, large frothing mug of beer and taco. The Mexican coat of arms is emblazoned below in relief with the text "Mexico". Mayan stone glyph symbols wrap around the lower rim and the diamond pattern commonly found on the Saltillo serape blanket is echoed on the upper rim. The sides feature motifs of the Mexican culture and land including, Chichen Itza temple, piñata, Avocado, Iguana, Cacti, Lime, Hot Peppers, Maracas and a Day of the Dead painted skull. These relief hand painted motifs pop against the dark cobalt blue background.
