Product Description
German advent calendar in the shape of the traditional Cuckoo Clock. At 23.75" tall, this Christmas calendar mimics the size of a real cuckoo! The clock dial bears the 23 doors with the 24th in the cuckoo door. Includes rotating clock hands, movable pendulum and pine cone weights.
Whimsical bears, foxes, hedgehogs, cats, dogs, bunnies, mice, bees, owls, sheep, squirrels and deer all join in on celebrating Christmas at the Cuckoo chalet. A bear dressed as Santa hands out presents, a cat lights candles on the Christmas tree, foxes ring bells and hang stockings, cats dressed in dirndl tend to the bees and eat lebkuchen, and a mouse angel sings carols while the owl watches over the festivities.
The detailed picture has 24 little doors to open. Each door has a little picture behind it. The tradition is to open one door each day from December 1 thru December 24. Children love to open a door a day as they count down to Christmas.
