This beautiful 2 liter hand painted Limited Edition Collectible stein is a masterpiece of the steinmaker's art and depicts famous Crusaders, specifically prominent leaders of the First Crusade (1096-1099 AD) dressed in full armor including Raimound IV of Toulouse, Baldwin (Balduin) I of Edessa, Boemund of Tarent & Godfrey of Bouillon. Each crusader is framed in an arch supported by columns.
A 4-tiered conical lid of genuine pewter ornately decorated in detailed raised relief crowns this beautiful limited edition work of art.
The mold for this stein was originally sculpted by master modeller Peter Duemler around the year 1890 and is now being reproduced by King-Werk GmbH. This beer stein features an impressive facon lid, cream colored background, hand painted accents and a certificate of authenticity with history on the back.
