Antique King Beer Stein
This stunning 1.5 liter antique style Limited Edition Collectible stein is a true masterpiece of the steinmaker's art and depicts two noblemen in joyous celebration with a beer maiden. The scene is framed by an arched window on which hop vines grow. The text below reads "Der Becher winkt, Stosst an und trinkt!" which translates as "Let the beer steins clink in a toast to a drink!" The body is meticulously adorned with the walls of the castle and it's watchtower in classical and detailed bas relief. The back panel below the stein handle gives us a glimpse of the castle's well stocked beer cellar.
A 4-tiered conical lid of genuine pewter ornately decorated in detailed raised relief crowns this beautiful limited edition work of art.
The mold for this stein was originally sculpted by master sculptor Wilhelm Kamp around the year 1897 and is now being reproduced by King-Werk GmbH. This beer stein features an impressive facon lid, cream colored background, blue & brown glaze accents and a certificate of authenticity with history on the back.
