Antique German King Beer Stein
This King-Werk 2017 Limitat 2 Liter beer stein features the mobilizing of a German tribe to defend their homeland (vaterland) in detailed relief decoration. In the center panel a determined German wife and mother shows her man, who is kissing his son good-bye, the way to his fellow fighters gathering under the banner that reads "Vaterland in Gefahr" (Homeland in Danger).
The mold for this stein was likely originally sculpted by Peter Duemler around 1875 and is now being reproduced by King-Werk GmbH. This beer stein features an impressive facon lid, ivory background, burnt sienna and lighter blue accents and a certificate of authenticity with history on the back.
