A beautifully detailed scene of a traditionally dressed hunter kissing his sweetheart is shown on this German made stein with hand painted color.  The couple is depicted on a balcony with flowering trees framing the scene.  A vignette of a deer appears on the back surrounded by cornucopia spilling forth with fruit.

Gold multi-color & cobalt glaze combination.  Hand painted.  Ornamental pewter lid and thumblift.
