Product Description
Beautifully detailed large advent calendar with scenes from 24 of the Grimm Brothers Fairy Tales. Each of the 24 doors open to a different fairy tale for the viewer to guess. The front of this Christmas calendar displays a delightful scene of a cozy log cabin surrounded by enchanted trees, puss in boots on the roof, a gnome around a fire, the frog prince holding a golden ball and woodland creatures snacking on Christmas treats. A sign on the fence gate reads "Märchen-Stunde" which translates as "Story Time".
The detailed picture has 24 little doors to open. Each door has a little picture behind it. The tradition is to open one door each day from December 1 thru December 24. Children love to open a door a day as they count down to Christmas.
