Griffin Beer Stein
This German beer stein features a full wrap high relief scene of hunters with horse and dog battling a griffin on a rocky crag. The griffin lets out a piercing screech as the hunter on horse back aims his arrow to slay the creature.
A large painted silver bow handle forms the handle. An impressive fully three dimensional 3.25" tall solid pewter griffon perches on the plateau lid.
Hand painted rustic finish with cobalt blue glaze.
This beer stein was originally produced by Thewalt GmbH of Germany and is now being faithfully reproduced from the original mold by King-Werk GmbH of Germany.
