Product Description

This beer stein has been crafted to highlight the development of the German Armored Unit over the past century. The body of the beer stein is a smooth, black glazed, high quality stoneware decorated with a platinum wrap around design. Along the top border are the words, "Die Historie Der Deutschen Panzerwaffe," translated as, "The History of the German Armored Force." The left side of the platinum design features a variety of German tanks from 1917 to 1939 and a time line that outlines the accomplishments of the Panzertruppe, the German Armored Units, during the first half of the twentieth century. The right side of the platinum design features pictures of a variety of German tanks and a time line from 1941 until present day outlining the history of the German Panzertruppe. All labels and time line entries are listed in German. A pewter Panzertruppe badge, featuring a tank bordered by a German eagle and a gold wreath, appears at the center of the wrap around decoration opposite the handle of the beer stein. On each side of the badge are various German military service emblems. A detailed pewter figurine of one of the Panzerwaffe tanks is fixed on top of the ornamental pewter lid.
