The German Shepherd dog is well known for its intelligence, loyalty and strength, which is one of the many reasons this breed was selected to work with the police force.  As this breed's name states, German Shepherds originated in Germany and it is only fitting this police dog 3D character stein bears the uniform, hat & tie of a German police officer.  Books surround the base of this stein with the titles in German:  Sonderausbildung (Special training) & Unterordnung & Schutzdienst (Obedience & Protection Duty).  The shepherds bushy tail forms the handle.  A pewter lid is concealed under the porcelain head.
