1 liter stoneware mug with a humorous take on the centries old German purity law where Herr Burgermeister (the mayor) declares the German Beer Brewing Purity Law for the town with bell & scroll in hand. The text states that the creek water is to be used for beer brewing on Wednesday and therefore the townsfolk can no longer "go" or "geschissen" in the creek starting on Tuesday.

The German reads: "Der Herr Burgermeister gibt bekannt, dass am Mittwoch Bier gebraut wird und deshalb ab Dienstage nicht mehr in den Bach geschissen werden darf!"

Hops and barley border the sides of the image.
