The second in the four seasons series, Summer (Sommer in German) is the theme of this hand painted beer stein with 24K gold accents.  A woman in traditional dress holds a scythe and an armful of hay.  Haystacks can been seen in the background with a vignette of red and yellow roses on either size.  Intricate scroll work adorns the body of this stein and the three zodiac symbols of this season adorn the base - Cancer, Leo and Virgo.

Hand-painted relief decoration, cobalt blue glaze, scrolling handle and pewter conical lid.
