Product Description
This beautifully detailed large advent calendar depicts Rothenburg, Germany at Christmas. The historic buildings frame a scene of the Weihnachtsmarkt with a Christmas tree vendor. Children sled, have snowball fights and enjoy the festivities. A man holds a sign advertising horse drawn sleigh rides. A large banner reads "Rothenburg ob der Tauber" (over the Tauber River).
The detailed picture has 24 little doors to open. Each door has a little picture behind it. The tradition is to open one door each day from December 1 thru December 24. Children love to open a door a day as they count down to Christmas.
