This German advent calendar with glitter accents depicts a scene of children decorating a Christmas tree in the forest. They feed the wild birds and offer carrots to the bunnies. Angels play music from a tree branch and Santa arrives to join the festivities with his sack of presents slung over his back.
First released in the 1970s, this nostalgic calendar is now being reprinted.
The detailed picture has 24 little doors to open. Each door has a little picture behind it. The tradition is to open one door each day from December 1 thru December 24. Children love to open a door a day as they count down to Christmas.
