Product Description
This hand-painted, relief decorated beer stein was created to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the publication of the fairytales by the Brothers Grimm (1812-2012). This stein depicts the folktale of the Bremen Town Musicians (Die Bremer Stadtmusikanten) with the donkey, dog, cat and rooster, as well as, music scrolls on the front. The left shows the town hall (Rathaus) of Bremen with the statue of Roland guarding over the city. The right panel shows a portrait of the Brothers Grimm looking over their book of fairy tales. The banner reads "Jacob u. Wilhelm Grimm". Story of the Bremen Town Musicians included.
The base and rim are bordered by oak leaves and acorns. Relief pewter conical lid and cobalt blue background.
