Bavarian Maypole Beer Stein

The tradition of the Bavarian Maypole is celebrated on this impressive jug beer stein that stands 18" tall!  A large maypole with symbols for craftsmen guilds in Bayern, ribbons and wreath fills the front of this German stein with high relief scrolls framing the scene.

The text "Bayern" curves below the maypole in relief with the Bavarian coat of arms and flag crest on either side.

Deep cobalt blue glaze, hand painted accents, relief decoration and pointed pewter lid.
