Product Description
This hand-painted, relief decorated German beer stein features three panels depicting notable landmarks of Bamberg, located in Bavaria, Germany.
The center panel shows the Altes Rathaus or Old City Hall with a banner reading "Bamberg" below. Bamberg's coat of arms appear in a shield above the Rathaus. The "Dom" is depicted on the right side, where the famous Bamberg Horseman statue can be found. Altenburg (the Old Castle), which sits atop the tallest of Bamberg's seven hills, is depicted rising above the tree tops on the left side of this German stein.
The base of the beer stein is bordered by a procession of German beer wagons, giving a nod to the city's renowned and unique Rauchbier or smoke (smoked) beer. Schlenkerla Smokebeer Brewery (http://www.schlenkerla.de). Relief pewter conical lid and rustic finish.
