Sadly again, the Oktoberfest festival grounds in Munich will remained closed for visitors this fall 2021, due to lingering concerns over the Covid-19 pandemic. As you will note on the stein, the 2021 Munich Oktoberfest "KOA Wiesn", which is Bavarian dialect for "No Oktoberfest". Oktoberfest 2021 would have been held from 9/18/2021 - 10/03/2021, however can instead be celebrated at home.

The 211^th Anniversary Oktoberfest Festivities Beer Stein is more than a rare collector piece, it’s a work of art. 24K gold lettering stands bright against a cobalt blue background. The front banner reads "Oktoberfest Munchen." The hand painted relief on the front captures a man with 1 liter kannenbäcker beer mug standing next to a woman in traditional Bavarian costume on a carousel. The sides feature images of a beer hall, table with Oktoberfest beer, pretzel and traditional hat, maypole and Munich's iconic town square (Marienplatz) with the Frauenkirche set against the alps. Motifs of weisswurst, kannenbäcker mugs frothing with beer, kegs, hops & wheat and pretzels accent the stein.

An edelweiss and beerwagon pewter conical lid sits proudly atop this one of a kind beer stein.
