This authentic ceramic beer stein made by King-Werk in Germany celebrates the 200^th anniversary of Oktoberfest (1810-2010). Only 10,000 of these mugs were produced and sold worldwide in 2010. Hand made by master stein crafters, the 200^th Anniversary Oktoberfest Beer Stein features beautiful hand sculpted and hand painted reliefs.

Hand Crafted German Beer Stein

The vibrant colors of this gold-multi color beer stein bring to life the festive atmosphere and Gemutlichkeit (friendship, enjoyment and togetherness) of this historic celebration. Banners read: “Munchen Oktoberfest” held by two Bavarian lions with crowns. The front features a hand sculpted, hand painted relief of a German man holding a large stein while being kissed by a traditionally dressed Fraulein. A dark cobalt background allows the hand painted gold and white accents to stand out prominently.

The sides feature Munich’s world famous Frauenkirche (Our Lady’s Church) with its unmistakable onion domed towers and the Rathaus. Both churches are encircled by pretzels, trumpets, beer mugs and laurels. The mug is topped by a beer wagon and edelweiss pewter relief conical lid.
